Statistics: Russia’s inflation accelerates to 0.25% April 16–22

MOSCOW, Apr 27 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation accelerated to 0.25% in the week from April 16 through April 22 from 0.2% in the previous week, and reached 11.32% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

The sugar prices fell by 1.07%.

The prices for fruit and vegetables fell by 0.4% on average, including the price for cabbage that fell by 5.1%, for onion by 2.7%, for tomatoes by 2.6%, for bananas by 1.9%.
